The 34th Annual International Cannabinoid Research Society Symposium on the Cannabinoids

The International Cannabinoid Research Society is delighted to announce that our 34th annual ICRS Symposium will be held from June 30 - July 5, 2024 – in Salamanca Spain.

Salamanca – a beautiful and safe city in western Spain – is the capital of the Province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castille and León. Salamanca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site – a European "Capital of Culture" – and is a flagship Spanish Renaissance city. Its old town preserves, untouched, an amazing architectural aesthetic, with stunning examples of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. A large component of the city's life is centered around the University – Universidad de Salamanca – the oldest active University in Spain, and the fourth longest standing in all of Europe just behind Bologna, Oxford and Paris. Salamanca's streets are brimming with university spirit.

Palacio de Congresos de Castilla y León – the Salamanca Exhibition and Conference Center – is located in the heart of Salamanca's old town. An international benchmark of modern design, the Palacio is a masterpiece of Juan Navarro Baldeweg architecture – great acoustics, excellent sight lines, comfortable seats, airy and daylight-lit communal areas – and is only a short, pleasant walk from the Salamanca metro station.

Salamanca is a highly prized gastronomic destination, with three (3) Michelin-starred restaurants and countless variety available. Cutting-edge, innovative and creative cuisine abounds in the area, with a wonderful mix of affordable tradition and state-of-the-art available. There are tapas routes weaving through the old city, and the area is known for its first-rate raw materials, Iberian products and fine service.
Our Organizing Committee is scheduling an exciting programme for our 34th Symposium:
  • 50+ Oral Presentations – 12 min each, live and recorded/streaming HD video;
  • 8 Plenary Presenters – Our brilliant, invited ICRS2024 speakers from all over the world;
  • 200+ Poster Presentations – Presented during 3 - 2-hour poster sessions with live Q&A;
  • Trainee and delegate roundtables, discussions and sponsored events; and
  • Unprecedented access, on-site and via our virtual site, to key sponsors and exhibits.
Keeping with tradition, this year's ICRS conference will serve as a window into the world's apex cannabinoid research. During the conference, seasoned researchers and young cannabinoid students alike have a brilliant opportunity to share their work with one another.

Join us in Salamanca!
